Logline/Synopsis
The Film
A man caught in his monotonous routine is jerked back to reality when he bumps into the perfect stranger.
Director Bio:
Jack Saxon is a filmmaker from Waco, Texas. His passion for filmmaking spans over ten years, and he has had many opportunities to learn more about his craft through freelance videography, PSAs, commercials, and making short films. Jack has also screened past films at Texas festivals and won an audience award for his first short film, Step By Step.
Director Statement:
Step By Step was my first independent short film that I made back in 2017. I wanted to challenge myself to tell a love story and convey emotion using only feet. Since I had no budget, I was forced to wear many hats during the production process including director, editor, actor and composer. Ultimately, my team and I had a great time with this experiment, and I’d like to thank my friend Garrett Williams for the inspiration. Enjoy!
